Strategy

Fear & Hunger Mode

The player can feed the Headless with Rotten meat, Dried meat or Meatpie via the Talk option. The Headless will become fixated on the meat and won't attack for two turns.

If the player does not have anything to distract the Headless with. the battle is still a relatively easy one. if the player has a party of more then 1 member. simply attacking the torso all at once will easily overpower the creature before it can deal damage. However, if the party has only 1 member, you may have to tank some damage. 2 hits to the torso is enough.

Attacking the legs is a waste of time.

Masoχ-S/M Mode

The same strategy for Fear & Hunger Mode applies.

      • The creature seems puzzled by your request...
    • Player: [INTIMIDATE] “Don't care what you are. All living things understand pain.”
      • The beast does hesitate a little bit. As if it's sensing your intimidating aura... (+Hesitation)
      • If repeated:
      • Your threats go to deaf ears... if the creature even has those... (-Hesitation)

Player:
“The creature is without its head. There is only a mouth-like gaping cavity in its place which seems to have muscles to simulate jaws and biting. The obvious reason for this is mutation, although the hole is too symmetric and functional to pass off as a mere mutation. The physique of the beast looks otherwise similar to that of a wolf. The body seems sturdy and strong with no clear weaknesses. Its fur must catch fire easily and there seems to be innate weakness against otherwordly powers.”
