Jonni

Jonni is a minor deceased character in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. He is also a potential party member for a character able to use Necromancy.

Lore

While alive, Jonni was a Bremen soldier who fought the second Great War and was deployed to Prehevil after a peace treaty was signed. This event apparently postponed his expected return home to his lover Giesela, to whom he wrote an unsent letter that may be found by the player character.

What exactly happened to Jonni afterwards is unknown, as he met his demise at an underground bunker close to the Maiden Forest on the outskirts of Prehevil. At the time the events of the game take place, his body is still at a relatively fresh state of decomposition. As not much physical trauma is present, there is the possibility that Jonni suffered a heart attack or died because of some disease or poison. As it is known that a Festival of Termina took place in Prehevil with Bremen forces being the contestants, his death being a consequence of Termina is in likelihood.

Location and recruitment

Jonni's remains are located at the second level of Tunnel 7. If one searches his body, they will find Soldier's letter, a readable file depicting his opinions on Prehevil to his loved one. A character with the Necromancy skill will be able to revive him as a Ghoul and have him join the party. As it is custom to resurrected characters, he can be named by the player as they wish. Gameplay-wise, Jonni is identical to other recruitable Ghouls in the game, meaning he is AI-controlled and cannot equip weapons or use skills in-battle.
