War scythe
The War scythe is a weapon in Fear & Hunger.
Acquirement
The War scythe can be acquired on the corpse of a huge mystical beast inside the ancient city in the present, directly on the left to the center square. The door leading there can only be opened from the other side.
Alternatively, it can also be found with a 3% chance in chests.
It can be acquired by using an Empty scroll and inputting the following verses:
- O LORD
- GIVE
- WAR SCYTHE
Gameplay
It is not recommended to use this weapon, as despite targeting every enemy, its low success rate and low attack means it will miss a lot, and if it doesn't miss, it will deal pitiful damage.
It is not possible to alleviate this flaw with the Eyeglasses or Monocle as they boost Hit rate, not Success rate.
It is possible to curse this weapon at the Hexen to obtain a Cursed war scythe at the cost of 3 Lesser souls.
