Abandoned House (Rher Dimension) Meeting Dialogue

  • Man in Black: "Another one heeds my call... Just remember that you came to me, not the vice versa... Tell me O' naive one, do you believe in the pitch black darkness?"
    • Player: "I believe, but I don't support it." / "I believe in a thing called love."
      • Man in Black: "Ah, but that is how it was always meant to be. Good on one hand and the evil on the other. Good can come from bad and bad can come from good. A constant struggle. A game even. But then came along humans with their science... A man is meant to follow his spirit. Science wants to put everything under a thing called 'the microscope'... There is no good or evil behind the scope anymore... I will aid you. I will lend you my sword and shield. Good and evil."
    • Player: "I live in and for darkness."
      • Man in Black: "Truly? There is always balance in everything a man represents.
    • Player: "I got no idea what you are talking about."
      • Man in Black: "Hubris of a man. Do not make a fool out of yourself. ... Maybe you will come to know with time. Unfortunately time is a rare resource in these parts of the world. I must take my leave for now..."

After sculpting 12 clay figures with Black Kalev in the party

  • Man in Black: "Carving an idol of yourself I see. Humanity and their endless yerning... I stood next to your celebrated christ, Alll-mer the Ascended One as he carved his idol. To condense his true essence, he carved that macabre being from the depths of his sub-consciousness. To confront his shadow, the unknowable, the 'imperfection' that obstructed his pursuits of absolution. As one, the 'ascended one' became two - That was when humanity finally reached the heights it had always strived for. Only it was not two gods that the mankind yearned for, now was it? If the other one had been dug deep within Alll-mer's sub-consciousness, it had to be sent back just as deep so it wouldn't obstruct the newfound order. Cast away, so that true absolution could be reached. Cast away deep, all the way down to the sulfuric pits. But which one was it that got cast away? The conscious or the sub-conscious of the ascended one? If you continue carving idols, big enough to rival the old world order - You won't know which side of you prevails. It could just as well be you who gets squashed as your shadow runs loose."

  • Black Kalev has got a blank expression on his face. He's slowly chewing a brown tuft of weed in his mouth. The more you look at Kalev, the more annoyed he starts to look.
