The world of the Fear & Hunger series mirrors the geographical layout of our real world, yet it is infused with a variety of differing regions shaped by gods and the presence of monsters. While the physical settings in the series primarily focus on two nations, knowledge of other areas can be acquired through interactions with diverse characters and the exploration of available text.

Within this expansive world, numerous countries exist. The political landscape has undergone significant transformations throughout the chronology of the series, and the most recent installment, Fear & Hunger 2: Termina, is also positioned at the latest point in the series' timeline.

Taking place on Europa, a counterpart to real-life Europe, the series presents the world from a progressively evolving Western perspective.
