The Booby trap is a Miscellaneous Consumable in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina.

Gameplay

In overworld maps, Booby traps can be used to stun enemies that step on them for 1.33 seconds and apply Can't do shit 3; the player can then enter the fight and get 1 free turn or shoot them with a 12-gauge Trenchgun to kill them instantly. When deployed, a Booby trap will be set directly on the tile where the main character is standing. If an enemy walks over it, it will be triggered. Booby traps affect only one enemy at a time but are harmless to the main character, who can also retrieve the trap if it remains intact. Note that Booby traps will disappear if the player transitions to a different map. Additionally, deploying a second Booby trap will cause the first one to disappear.

Stepping on Booby traps has various consequences for different enemies. Below is a list of enemies that roam the maps and the respective outcomes they face when encountering a Booby trap.
