Battle Theme

The Villager (Sickle) is an Enemy and potential party member encountered in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina.

Lore

The man's appearance and clothing indicate he was once a regular resident of Prehevil's Old Town before succumbing to the Moonscorch. Although he carries a sickle and hesitates to kill, the influence of the Festival of Termina compels him towards aggression. He claims that Rher demands it, insisting there is no other way, as only one can survive.

Location, Behaviour & Recruitment

The Villager (Sickle) can be recruited by using Necromancy on their corpse.

Strategy

Fear & Hunger Mode

The best way to deal with the Sickle Villagers is to just attack the sickle arm, guard when he uses a bear trap and then rev up and attack the torso.

Masoχ-S/M Mode

The same strategy for Fear & Hunger Mode applies.

Player:
“The man has severe burns and malformations around his body, especially on his face. Looks like his eyes are practically blinded by these. The blisters on his face are festering, but at the same time parts of his face have dried up to crisp seemingly from inside out. It doesn't appear to be caused by fire or explosion of any kind. The results have formed over longer period of time. The body itself is relatively frail. Weak against piercing attacks, fire and otherwordly powers.”

Trivia

  • Work of Francis Bacon heavily influenced the final design of villagers and rifleman.
  • The villagers have their faces twisted by the moonscorch, and all have a clear partition in the middle of the face that resembles Rher's half moon depiction in his Skin Bible or Needles' face paint.
