The Gull bros will appear in the Orphanage after the Tes'tich table is used, destroying it and chasing the player. They will chase the player down the stairs of the Orphanage into the second level. If the player leaves the Orphanage and comes back, they will disappear.
If the player collects any two of the three effigies, or after being triggered in the Orphanage, they will be able to appear in the city. Their appearance is signalled by the Crow Mauler horn, potential gull sounds and a message stating "A terrifying presence has entered your vicinity.". They have a 25% chance of appearing every 53.3 seconds in:
The Gull bros are the most dangerous chaser enemy in the game. The Gull bros have two main attacks, Mauler and Peck. Mauler deals 40-60 blunt damage and has a 50% chance to inflict a Fracture, if the target is Olivia she has a 40% chance of being knocked down from her wheelchair. After the second turn, the Gull bros will be able to use Peck, which is an instant kill move if it hits. In most cases, it is not recommended to fight them and instead run around the table and leave the Orphanage.
If the player decides to fight anyway, they should either make sure they already have 16 or more agility and at least either Glass shards or Black smog to blind them by the end of the second turn. Mischief of rats would be useful to stun them on the first turn to avoid being hit while trying to blind them, although not necessary. Since they don't have any resistances, applying any sort of DoT status effect will make the fight end a lot sooner.
