Status Effects are the different afflictions that your character and party members can suffer from in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. They can be caused by enemies or traps, with each having different effects. Status effects represent one of the core dangers of the game, as they can render the player unable to fight or cause either temporary or permanent problems. These effects are partially listed in the Anathomia book.

Debuffs that can be applied on the player and other party members.

  • Accessories can only prevent debuffs but not cure them in F&H2.

Dying in battle clears the character of any status effects, meaning if the player is able to die without getting a game over, for example Needles or Janitor, then they can use this to clear every status effect. This also means that using Magna-medicinal is a way to clear party members of every status effect.
