The Rotten meat is a Food item in Fear & Hunger.

Acquirement

• Can be found as random barrel loot.
• Can be stolen from Prisoners, Bloody mans, and from some Guards.

Gameplay

While not recommended as a food item, Rotten meat can be given to certain enemies when talking and have different effects depending. Feeding two pieces of meat separately to Moonless will allow you to recruit her to the party. Giving it to a Night lurch distracts it temporarily in battle. Rotten meat can also be offered to Jaggedjaws but doing so has no effect.
