Dialogues

Party Talk:
  • If Olivia is in the party:
    • Olivia: "Would you just look at all this!"
    • Olivia: "Hee, sorry if I'm a like child in a candy store."
    • Olivia: "I'm just in my element here. I could spend forever studying the beds of moss, the foliage, the forage, every tree from top to the bottom roots and the mycelium that grows underneath..."
      • If Abella is in the party:
        • Abella: "I love how spirited you are."
        • Olivia: "I'm so sorry if it's a bit too much."
        • Olivia: "I know I can be obnoxious when I find something new like this."
        • Abella: "Oh don't worry love. You're golden."
        • Olivia: "Great!"
  • If Marina is in the party:
    • Marina: "This place is called 'The Maiden Woods'."
    • Marina: "Can you guess where the name comes from?"
    • Marina: "Yup, you probably guessed it. They used to sacrifice temple maidens here to appease the gods."
  • If Karin is in the party:
    • Karin: "I was expecting this forest to be dead and silent like the rest of this wicked area... Instead... Something feels even too lively down here."
      • If Olivia is in the party:
        • Olivia: "Right! Don't you just love it!"
        • Karin: "..."
        • Karin: "I wouldn't put it quite like that."
        • Karin: "It's unsettling to say the least. I feel like there is something constantly moving in the woods! Just slightly out of our view..."
        • Olivia: "Oh..."
        • Olivia: "I'm sure it's nothing..."
        • Olivia: "Just a gentle breeze moving the leaves!"
        • Karin: "..."
        • Karin: "I feel no breeze..."
      • Otherwise:
        • Karin: "Are you guys feeling the same? Maybe it's just paranoia, but I feel like there is something constantly moving in the woods... Just slightly out of our view..."
  • If Abella is in the party
    • Abella: "The deeper we go to the forest... The eerier it gets..."
    • Abella: "You can almost hear a hum echoing from the woods... And is that a drum beat...?"
    • Abella: "Oh dear... I'm not losing my mind here, am I?"
  • If Daan is in the party
    • Daan: "..."
    • Daan: "The weather never gets better here now does it?"
    • Daan: "It's a bit of a buzz kill if I'm completely honest."
  • If Levi is in the party
    • Levi: "..."
    • Levi: "I kind of... like it here actually."
    • Levi: "I wasn't a big fan when growing up... But after spending the majority of my boot camp in a forest and a good amount of my service hiding in one..."
    • Levi: "It's become a second home to me... Or maybe the only home really..."
  • If Marcoh is in the party
    • Marcoh: *Ribbit* *Ribbit*
      • Player: "What's that Marcoh?"
        • Marcoh: "!"
        • Marcoh: "It's nothing."
        • Marcoh: "..."
        • Marcoh: "Just chatting with the toads."
        • Marcoh looks flustered and embarrassed.
    • If repeated:
      • Marcoh: "..."
      • Marcoh is looking around. Toads especially seem to catch his attention.
  • If O'saa is in the party
    • O'saa: "..."
    • O'saa: "We are not alone here. You feel the eyes following us too?"
      • Player: "Yes, I can feel them."
        • O'saa: "Either they are just weaklings hiding from us, or alternatively they are waiting for the proper moment to ambush us."
        • O'saa: "Which one do you think it is?"
      • Player: "No, what are you talking about?"
        • O'saa: "Since the moment we stepped into these woods, we've been followed."
        • O'saa: "I'm not entirely sure how many of them there are, but... We are talking about quite a few."
