Strategy
Fear & Hunger Mode
The Ratkin gang is extremely dangerous due to their high collective health and ability to attack multiple times in one turn. It is recommended that the player use spells or items that allow them to damage multiple enemies at once.
If the player is out of AoE options, it may be wise to save up rev points and/or mind to quickly shoot them down one-by-one. It is likely inevitable that most of the player's party will be affected by infection and/or bleeding during the battle which can be mitigated with the right healing items on hand.

- Ratkin: “Death to the grounddweller!”
- Ratkin: “Cut its throat!”
- Ratkin: “Dibs on their liver!”
- Ratkin: “The liver's all mine!”
- Ratkin: “I'll poke the human butt with this! Shove it deep!”
- Ratkin: “I'll scratch the eyes, look at this! Look at me! I said look!”
- Ratkin: “Fresh and soft! The thighs are mine!”
- Ratkin: “As long as I get the skin, I'm fine. Need a new blanket.” The ratkins are bickering loudly. You don't get a turn to ask them anything.

Player: “This frail and curious creature seems to share characteristics of both human and rat species. You are not entirely sure whether this thing was originally a human that has mutated to resemble a rat or if it once was a rat that has mutated closer to human. Whatever is the case, it's clear that the creature has none of the positive trait of either species. The body seems weak against pretty much everything, except it has properties that make it durable against otherwordly powers.”
If Daan is in the party: “This frail and curious creature seems to share characteristics of both human and rat species. I'm not entirely sure whether this thing was originally a human that mutated to resemble a rat or if it once was a rat that mutated closer to shape of a human being. Whatever is the case, it's clear that this miserable thing has none of the positive trait of either species. Not exactly a winner in gene lottery. The body seems weak against pretty much everything, except it has properties that make it durable against otherwordly powers.”
