The Valkyrie is a boss encountered in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. If not dealt with properly, Karin will turn into Valkyrie due to Moonscorch on Day 3 Night.

Lore

It is implied that Karin's Moonscorched form is inspired by the concept of guilt. Her profession profits from wartime, which could make her feel like a vulture preying on the corpses of young soldiers, a viewpoint shared by many commonfolk. However, Karin also tries to rationalize her work as a way of honoring the fallen, similar to the role of a valkyrie. As a result, her Moonscorched form could be a fusion of both the vulture and the valkyrie, reflecting her conflicting feelings about her career.

Location

The Valkyrie can be seen flying over the Lake near the area exit to Prehevil-Old Town on Day 3 Night. There will be a boat at the dock to the right of the filthy shack that is not there at any other time, the player can take the boat and arrive at D'ábel's Island where she'll fly to the player shortly after going east.

On Day 3 Night, Karin will moonscorch and turn into Valkyrie.

Use Brain flower Failure “The head of the creature has got hardened naturally growing armor. You cannot penetrate it and lay down your seed...”
Use Heart flower Failure “The head of the creature has got hardened naturally growing armor. You cannot penetrate it and lay down your seed...”
Beat it Nothing “The body of the valkyrie feels very muscular and tense even after its death.”
Medical diagnosis Nothing
Player:
“The creature seems to have a mixture of human and bird physique. The fusion looks so perfect that you cannot tell which is the point of origin in its transformation. You suspect the creature used to a human originally, just based on the monstrosities you've seen in the area so far. Upon closer inspection, the armor on the creature looks organic. It's exoskeleton-like growth. It's very hard and sturdy.”
If Daan is in the party:
“I don't think a doctor, or even a vet would be the right person to do the diagnosis here... This is something straight out of a gothic horror novel.”
Search Nothing “The valkyrie has nothing of value.”
Leave Success Nothing
Devour Failure “The armor on the valkyrie prevents you from biting through.”
Harvest an organ Failure “The armor on the valkyrie prevents you from penetrating the skin.”
Saw off its head (Valkyrie's head) Nothing
Necromancy Failure “The soul is too corrupted and frail to be summoned back to the body. The necromancy failed.”
