“C-choke on my baaallsss...”
- The best he has to say to You.

The Monster is a Boss encountered in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. If not dealt with properly, Caligura will turn into Monster due to Moonscorch on Day 2 Night.

Location

  • Monster can be found in the Sewers - Southern Tunnels, Sewers - Mid Tunnels or Sewers - West Junction
    • Will only appear if Caligura wasn't killed by Day 2 Night
    • He will first poke his head above the water twice and then the player must walk around until he attacks. He can also appear the Western Tunnels and the Western End but he will not attack the player there

Strategy

Fear & Hunger Mode

Monster can be a difficult encounter due to his Nausea infliction and high damage on a target.

Every turn he will use Vomit, which deals 6-10 damage to all party members and has a 70% chance to inflict Poison and/or Nausea. At the end of each turn, he will use Hanky-panky, which deals 10-14 blunt damage based on the amount of targetable limbs he has remaining, meaning it can hit up to 6 times.

It is recommended to have White vials before the fight to cure the poison and nausea, or try to keep the torso stunned. However, stunning the torso will only prevent Vomit due to how Hanky-panky is programmed. Any party member inflicted with Nausea should not guard, as that will just increase the damage they take. The easiest way to deal with Hanky-panky is to blind the torso, use evasion buffs or AOE spells that destroy all arms.
