Talk is a skill always available to the playable character in Fear & Hunger and Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. It allows the player to potentially escape from the current fight they are in.

Acquirement
The Talk skill is a base skill that the main character will always start with, however, you can enhance that skill with a couple of skills like:
- Persuade
- Can be learned in Karin's intro.
- Can be learned at the Hexen using a Soul stone if the player is Karin or have killed Karin.
- Persuade does not require any skill to be learnt prior.
- Can't be learned by party members.
- Intimidate
- Can be learned at the Hexen using a Soul stone if the player learned Steal. (Bug)
- Can't be learned by party members.
- Can be learned at the Hexen using a Soul stone if the player learned Steal. (Bug)
- Diplomacy
- Can be learned at the Hexen using a Soul stone if the player is Karin or have killed Karin.
- Diplomacy requires Escape plan to be learnt prior.
- Can't be learned by party members.
- Can be learned at the Hexen using a Soul stone if the player is Karin or have killed Karin.
Gameplay
Can be used in battle, depending on the talk choice, the enemy will be inflicted with different status effects.
Persuade and Intimidate gives more talking options.
Diplomacy initiates talking at the start of the battle.
